Novell delivered on their commitment to be with us every step of the way throughout the Lighthouse Early Adopter Program project. It began with an initial assessment of our business and technical level requirements followed by a plan of action, time line and recommendations about our current environment. Following, their engineers began working with our Staff to upgrade the existing Zen 10.3.1 environment to version 11 SP2. Upgrading the three primary servers and external database was seamless. However, a few minor issues did occur. Zenworks reporting during the installation had failed. Patch management reporting stated unsuccessful, although, successful. One of the CDP installations also had failed. Nevertheless, through coordinated conference calls with Novell Database Engineers and Developers, Novell and Staff were able to resolve the issues quickly and easily.
